Neuropathic Pain

Hello and thank you for taking the quiz.

From the little we know about you from this pain quiz, it seems likely that your problem is:

Neuropathic Pain

What does that mean?

In simple terms this means your nerves may be under some kind of compressive stress. It is important that you don’t try to stretch out the pain but do try to keep moving if possible. Even if that is just in short bursts.

Management of this type of pain depends on what is causing compression of your nerves. If pain is debilitating and you are struggling to move around, then I would suggest a visit to A&E first. In most cases however, the debilitating pain eases off in 2-3 days and you can be seen by someone like myself at that point.
