Tissue Tolerance

Hello and thank you for taking the quiz.

From the little we know about you from this pain quiz, it seems likely that your problem is:

Tissue Tolerance

What does that mean?

Well it means that your tissues are unable to keep up with the demands placed upon them. We often name these issues with the suffix "Osis", like tendinosis (not to be confused with tendinitis), because the tissue gets less painful with rest but doesn’t really heal, so comes back quickly again with activity. That’s because it is degenerative rather than inflammatory.

The tissue needs to build the capacity to withstand the load you are placing on it. For some people that load is no more than walking, for others it takes large weights or repetitive actions like running 10km to overload the tissues. These issues can also come on through inactivity, over stretching and repetitive compression of tissue. Whatever the situation is for you we need to find a solution to build more resilience.
